Why did you decide to join Armed Women of America?
I joined the new Terre Haute Chapter that began February 27, 2018 in May of 2018, because I wanted to be comfortable with firearms and learn/train how to use them with ease. Also, I wanted to be a self-protector.
How has being a member changed your life?
In a few months, I became a Chapter Leader. Our current Leader, at the time, asked if I’d be interested and I jumped at the opportunity! I was very involved with helping her with the monthly meetings up the to that point, so I had a pretty good feel for what it would involve.
I love to share, help and teach the ladies how to be a self-protector and be constantly aware of their surroundings. This is very rewarding to me because it can save lives!
