Why did you decide to join Armed Women of America?
I wanted to learn more about arming, protecting, and the sport of shooting.
How has being a member changed your life?
We have awesome leaders and I have learned so much. They are welcoming, encourage us, challenge us , and we have fun. The friendships I have made are great and in turn it makes one want others to join as well and to have the same great experiences. I started out as new to the sport and through the AWA I have grown to love it and recently have become an instructor.
When you look at yourself and your AWA sisters, how would you define “Armed Women of America” not the organization, but the women who so boldly stand with you on the mission to be your own self-protector?
I see ladies who stand up for themselves, we each have others backs, and we can defend ourselves and our families. We encourage others to do the same. I love being an AWA sister.
