Why did you decide to join Armed Women of America?
“When I met my husband, he was a firearm enthusiast. I, on the other hand, had never touched a gun. On one of our first dates, he took me to the indoor range and let me shoot a rifle. It was a lot of fun.
Our next date I tried a pistol and then I applied for my permit. He was a member of a local club that was hosting a meeting for women…that is where it all began.
I shoot far more than my husband does and I have met some amazing women that I am honored to call friends. We have all gone out of our comfort zone to take lessons as well as shot in Glock matches and have a friendship that will last a lifetime. I have been a leader for 5 years.
