Why did you decide to join Armed Women of America?
I am a survivor but never felt like one until I joined AWA . As a 12 year old girl I was molested and have forever since felt helpless, with the help and support of my AWA chapter I have regained my strength back. Just knowing if the need arises I can and will be able to safely defend myself.
How has being a member changed your life?
Misty and Kelly have guided me along the way teaching me how to safely handle my fire arm . Attending many range days even when they don’t shoot at some , just to guide me.
When you look at yourself and your AWA sisters, how would you define “Armed Women of America” not the organization, but the women who so boldly stand with you on the mission to be your own self-protector?
You know the saying you can’t truly love someone until you love yourself…
Well you can’t truly protect those you love until you learn to protect yourself. As woman we are born protectors , AWA and it’s members are providing the knowledge and support to allow this to happen.
