My Story
Nyree M.
Why did you decide to join Armed Women of America?
Because I needed more assistance with understanding the fundamentals of my firearm even though I had been shooting for years but I needed more. I needed someone I could relate to a mentor.
How has being a member changed your life?
It has built up my confidence to be outside my comfort zone. From participating in different projects or competitions. It keeps me grounded to remember to have fun and enjoy life. With the continued education/training it has made me more confident to carrying everyday too.
When you look at yourself and your AWA sisters, how would you define “Armed Women of America”, not the organization but the women who so boldly stand with you on the mission to be your own self-protector?
On point!!! Refreshing to know that I can go to any of them and know that I will get the support I need. They will take the time and tell you step by step as to why you might or might not need something but leave it up to you whatever you do with the information. It is truly refreshing to get the pros and cons and not someone telling you only one side.
