Gunsite Announces New Pro Shop Manager (and she’s an AWA member!)

Gunsite Academy, the world’s oldest and largest firearms training school, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lindy Walters as the new Gunsite Pro Shop Manager, effective April 2023.

Walters, a member of Armed Women of America’s Gunsite chapter, has been with Gunsite since January 2020 as a member of the pro shop staff. Her appointment as Pro Shop Manager comes at a pivotal time for Gunsite as it expands the 3,200-acre venue to include a new 5,000 square foot pro shop soon to be opened.

A life-long outdoor hunting and shooting enthusiast, Walters received her Bachelor of Science from Morehead State University and her master’s degree from Missouri State University. Walters came to Gunsite after 10 years in the veterinarian sector where she managed large animal facilities.

“I’m excited to step into this new role as Manager of the Gunsite Pro Shop. I’m prepared and eager to take the pro shop to the next level with new products, advanced technology, and strong customer relations”, Walters said.

CEO Ken Campbell added, “Lindy has been a valuable member of the pro shop team for some time. As we move forward in growth and into more and greater technology driving the new Gunsite Pro Shop, there are many new vendors and industry partners eager to have their products on display, Lindy will be a great new team leader. We look forward to her leadership.
