Why did you decide to join Armed Women of America?
A neighbor kindly introduced me to the group, she helps me to improve my skills and training, I want to follow her, she is incredibly good. I always wanted to be able to defend myself, but my skills looked very poor, despite going to the practices I did not think I could improve. Now, knowing that there are other women with the same desire, it gave me strength to find time in my busy schedule to practice and master my skills. I just wanted to be ready, prepared, without fear and confident.
How has being a member changed your life?
I feel more confident. Being confident is amazing.
When you look at yourself & your AWA sisters, how would you define “Armed Women of America”, not the organization but the women who so boldly stand with you on the mission to be your own self-protector?
We stand together, we are not alone.
