Domestic Violence Awareness Month Tools & Resources

We understand that some organizations and resources may not share our views on the Second Amendment and self-defense. It is still important that we reach out and offer our aid to women in need. It is through our grace, service, and tact that we can make an impact on these lines of thinking and make positive changes. The focus must remain on aiding the women who most need our help.

Where to start:

Outside of the resources above, your local county health department or police department may have a complete list of resources or organizations in your area. Reach out to them for recommendations. They may even be able to suggest more pro-firearm groups or groups that they believe would be willing to accept our help.

Bring a Friend Month

For the entire month of October, members are encouraged to bring a friend to chapter meetings. This is an effort not only for growth, but for outreach. This is an excellent opportunity to cover topics that appeal to women with a wide range of beliefs, including those extending beyond firearms training. Situational awareness is a great example.
